Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

The challenge is open globally; however, the sweepstake is subject to geographic restrictions (see Section 7). Participants must have a valid Garmin Connect™ account and an Ahotu user account to participate and redeem rewards.

2. Challenge Period

The challenge runs from 1 September 2026 until 30 September 2026 (“Challenge Period”). Only activities successfully recorded and fully synced to Garmin Connect during the Challenge Period will be considered valid. Delayed or incomplete uploads may not be counted.

3. Participation

Participation in the challenge is free. Garmin Connect usage is subject to Garmin’s own terms and conditions. Ahotu is not responsible for technical issues related to Garmin Connect, activity tracking, syncing delays, or data inaccuracies.

4. Reward and Redemption

Participants who record a cumulative distance of at least 42.195 km (26.2188 miles) during the Challenge Period (“Challenge Completion”) will receive a unique code redeemable on Ahotu for a 15% discount and an optional entry into the sweepstake, subject to these Terms.

The reward code must be claimed by 31 October 2026 at 23:59 UTC.
Unclaimed codes will expire after the Claiming Period and will not be reissued.
Reward codes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Discount Codes

Once claimed, the user will receive a unique 15% discount code:

The discount code is valid until 31 October 2028 at 23:59 UTC.
Expired codes cannot be reinstated or extended.
Discount codes can only be used on eligible bookable events listed on Ahotu.
Each code is limited to one-time use per order.
Codes cannot be used retroactively for past bookings.
Codes cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, or offers unless expressly permitted.
Codes must not be shared publicly or made available through third-party websites, forums, marketplaces, or social media platforms. Any unauthorized distribution may result in immediate invalidation of the code.

6. Bookable Events

Bookable events are partner events that allow users to make direct bookings on Ahotu at the time of their website visit. These events regularly open and close registration on Ahotu, resulting in a continuously changing inventory. Availability of events is not guaranteed and is subject to change at any time.

7. Sweepstake for race packages

Participants who accumulate a total running distance of at least a marathon (42.195 km/26.2188 miles) during the Challenge Period, in one or multiple activities, successfully redeemed their reward code, created an Ahotu account, and optionally have selected a race package of their choice, will be entered into the corresponding sweepstake.

Sweepstake Terms:

The following countries of residency are excluded from the sweepstake: Brazil, Italy, China, India.
Winners will be notified via the email associated with their Ahotu account by 16 November 2026 at 23:59 UTC.
Winners must claim their prize within the timeframe specified in the notification. Unclaimed prizes may be forfeited.
Prizes are strictly personal to the registered winner, non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be sold, assigned, gifted, or otherwise passed on to any third party. Any attempt to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize.
Prizes are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative benefits.
Winners may be required to verify their identity and eligibility before the prize is awarded. The name and account details used to enter must match the details used to claim the prize.
Ahotu reserves the right to disqualify any participant or winner in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, manipulation of the Challenge, or violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Ahotu reserves the right to substitute the prize only where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, such as event cancellation, date changes, or other unforeseen disruptions affecting the availability of the advertised prize. Any substitute prize will be of equal or greater value.
The sweepstake is void where prohibited by law.
No purchase is necessary to enter the sweepstake beyond participation in the challenge.

8. Data Protection and Privacy

Ahotu processes personal data (including account information and activity data imported from Garmin Connect) for the purpose of administering the challenge, validating participation, and issuing rewards. Personal data will be processed in accordance with Ahotu’s Privacy Policy.

9. Liability

Ahotu is not liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from participation in the challenge, use of Garmin Connect, or redemption of rewards, except where prohibited by law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable Swedish laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
